Last year we purchased a Westfire Uniq 45 Woodburning only Stove from Pure Stoves and Fireplaces in Hitchin after great assistance and advice from Lucie and Angela during a couple of visits to their showroom.


The Stove was delivered and installed at the agreed time following a survey by their installation expert.


The whole operation went very smoothly and we are delighted to recommend Pure Stoves to any potential future Customers.

She looked up the information if she was unsure of sizes etc. She helped us look at various fire beds, depths and frontages...she referred us onto gas fitters that contacted us promptly. Having never even turned on the old one we inherited with our house, I’m amazed at how often we’ve already enjoyed our new heating source - particularly during yesterday’s snow!!

Having ridiculed the remote control option in your show room, a friend then recommended it and it really is the icing on the cake. 


Harry and his dad were friendly and efficient, and all in all the whole process could not have been more straightforward and pleasant.

 I would highly recommend Pure Stoves, in comparison with other local stove suppliers they were very professional and knowledgeable about the different stoves and the positive and negatives, of the varied stoves.
 
They also have a wide range of stoves that can fit almost any home and able to recommend the right stove for the room.
 
The whole process from initial enquiry, then survey and fitting was smooth, fast as we had our stove fitted within a month. It would probably have been sooner if the sweeps had been available earlier
 
The fitters used are very professional and charming, they had a great manner and were responsible and respectful while fitting. The fitters were also very approachable and helpful during and after the installation.
 
I would highly recommend using this company if you are considering having a wood burning stove installed in your home.

From the moment we walked in to Pure stoves we had amazing service from start to finish. Angela helped chose the correct stove for what we wanted and for our room she spent time looking and searching for us and came up with the perfect multi stove for us . Lucie helped us with our accessories that we needed and again was very helpful and gave us all the advice we needed . Both ladies made us feel that we had made the right decision to purchase our stove from them .
 
The gentlemen that fitted our stove again from start to finish were amazing and did a fantastic job of the installation and explaining everything we needed to know about the stove. They did a great job installing the fire and cleaned up after . We had a slight issue with a roof tile after after the installation and they came back out to fix it for us asap . Fantastic service from start to finish from the whole company . We’ve recommend to friends and family. 5 star all the way.

I received excellent advise and service from Pure Stoves as soon as I walked into the shop.
I originally went to order just a stove Henley Aran but when I was show the workmanship of the Hearths and fire surrounds I actually ended up purchasing all 3.

When the fitters came out to measure up they also provided me with really good advise and they were extremely helpful and efficient.

On the day of fitting I was kept up to date with how it was all going and I was also sent photos to double check I was happy.

The whole service was excellent, efficient and amazing. The workmanship in particular was of an extremely high standard.
Two of my neighbours are now contemplating in the future having the same company especially as the quote was reasonable throughout.

We came into store and spoke to Lucy and yourself who where absolutely fantastic from start to finish, you couldn't do enough for us and helped us with the troubles we encountered.

The measuring up was a success and the correct stove purchased which best suited ya and our budget.

The first day of the installation was great and the 2nd day also.
We had a new pot fitted and the stove looked great! 

We had a we issues regarding the slabs it was fitted on, re-pointing had to be done and the guys had to come back and jet wash our patio and drive way down which was great, but a shame it had to come to that.

"Pure Stoves and Firplaces provide an efficient, friendly service. The installation was done quickly and the workmen cleaned up after themselves. We are absolutely thrilled with the burner that Lucie recommended and it looks fab. The only downside was that we had to visit the shop to pay by debit/credit card...you need an online payment system Pure Stoves. You can pay by bank transfer but this doesn't give you financial protection. Other than that I give them 10/10.."

An alternative is that we take a card payment of a smaller amount – so that you have the financial security then you pay by bank transfer, some clients prefer this method if they are unable to make it into our showroom.

However, after contacting Pure Stoves we agreed that if I arranged the shipping myself then it wouldn't be a problem to have the fire surround delivered to and collected from their premises. The transaction went very smoothly. Jo suggested a couple of websites where I could choose the surround I wanted. We agreed a price, I transferred the money and the surround was delivered to Pure Stoves as promised approx 3 weeks later. I then arranged for it to be collected and shipped to me and it arrived very well packed and in excellent condition.
